Mingyu Ding leads IDEAL Lab, working at the intersection of robotics, embodied AI, and computer vision. Before joining UNC, he was a postdoctoral researcher at BAIR, UC Berkeley; he received his Ph.D. from the University of Hong Kong, was a visiting Ph.D. student at MIT CSAIL, and completed his undergraduate studies at Renmin University of China.
